What is Code of Ethics Training?
The Code of Ethics (COE) is a foundational set of professional standards that every REALTOR® must adhere to in order to ensure trust, fairness, and professionalism in real estate practices. As part of your membership with NAR, you are required to complete COE training to reinforce your understanding and commitment to these ethical guidelines.

Failure to complete COE training by the end of each cycle will result in a lapse in your membership with NAR. To remain an active member, you must complete the training before the cycle deadline.
Where to Complete COE Training:
If you prefer, you can complete COE online through The CE Shop. They offer an easy-to-access fee based online course tailored to NAR's standards. View their available courses here.
Check Your COE Status:
To check if you’ve completed your required COE training and to view your status in the current cycle, visit the NAR website. You can check your status at any time by logging into your account at NARMemberLogin.

What is Fair Housing Training?
Fair Housing training ensures that REALTORS® are knowledgeable about the laws that prevent discrimination in housing, promoting equal opportunity for all. As a REALTOR®, you must complete Fair Housing training to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, protecting your clients and ensuring equal access to housing.

As with the Code of Ethics, failure to complete the Fair Housing training by the end of the cycle will impact your ability to remain an active member.
