Payment Plans Available

May I make partial payments?

If you are a REALTOR® member and your primary membership is held with DeKalb REALTORS®, you will have the option to initiate a online Payment Plan with 4 installments. In addition to the renewal amount, a convenience fee of $25 will be added to your dues bill if you choose to participate in the Payment Plan.

Four installments will be applied to your credit card: first, on the day you enroll; followed by automatic withdrawals 30, 60, and 90 days from the date of your initial payment.  You must renew online by October 31st in order to take advantage of the payment plan and to avoid the first late fee. The Order Summary screen will still reflect the full amount of the membership renewal until the entire amount (all 4 payments) has been paid.

Please note this plan is available only online and payments will be processed automatically to the credit card information you provide (the plan cannot be paid with a check). This payment plan is for renewing members (new member applications have their own payment plan). You must renew online by October 31st in order to take advantage of the payment planMembers utilizing the payment plan that are not paid in full as of January 31, 2025, are subject to late fees up to $75.

Terms

By signing up for the payment plan online, I give authorization to the DeKalb REALTORS® to charge my credit/debit card account for my 2025 membership renewal on the specified installment dates. All payments are non-refundable.

No. Your 2025 REALTOR® dues renewal is $450. DeKalb REALTORS dues are $149. GAR state dues are $100. NAR dues are $156, plus the annual Consumer Campaign fee of $45. Each year we ask REALTOR members to invest $24 in RPAC, and Brokers to invest $100. This line item on your invoice is voluntary. There is an edit button to increase or decrease the amount.  Click here to see how the value of DeKalb Association of REALTORS® membership adds up to nearly $1,600 in savings annually, a substantial return on your investment.

Do I have to invest in RPAC?

Your renewal invoice online includes a voluntary RPAC investment which is strongly encouraged, but is ultimately voluntary. Please note that RPAC saves the typical REALTOR® nearly $25,000 each year and, without RPAC, you would be paying significantly more in operating costs annually. As you go through the prompts to pay online, you have the ability to modify and/or remove the RPAC amount (you will see an “edit” link next to the RPAC amount) before you input your credit card information.

Is the NAR Consumer Advertising Campaign contribution optional?

No. Each year, your Renewal Statement contains a separate line item for the NAR Consumer Advertising Campaign.

The Consumer Advertising Campaign (also known as the National Consumer Awareness Campaign) will allow NAR to deliver messages quickly and effectively to consumers and public policymakers about issues that matter to REALTORS® and their clients – issues like access to affordable mortgage financing, tax incentives to home ownership, overly stringent credit requirements and cumbersome short sales and foreclosures.

As you may know, the Consumer Advertising Campaign remains one of the most popular programs among NAR members… 95% of REALTORS® favored the advertising program, and 91% would like to see more NAR advertising that protects homeownership, promotes real estate investment, and advances the REALTOR® profession.

While this line item is distinct from your NAR dues, it is not optional. For more information on the Consumer Advertising Campaign, please visit www.nar.realtor/consumer-advertising-campaign.

What if I miss the deadline?

For members who have not renewed in full or initiated the payment plan by the following dates, a rate increase will be applied:

November 1st, $25

December 1st, $25

January 1st, $25

For members participating in a Payment Plan, the renewal amount will not increase if paid in full by January 31, 2025. After January 31, a $75 increase will be applied.

As you go through the prompts to pay online, you have the ability to modify and/or remove the RPAC amount (you’ll see an edit link next to the RPAC amount) on the page before you input your credit card information.
